OPEN AUDITION for the 10-11 Season CBD
is looking for female & male dancers for the 10th anniversary season!
Saturday, August 7 from 1:30-2:30 CBD studios at 1902 Abrams Pkwy, Dallas, 75214 All interested are encouraged
to come. Please let us know if you can attend at valerie@contemporaryballetdallas.com, and send your resume in advance or bring it with you! We will discuss the
coming season and performances scheduled! We will do a short warm up with barre and floor, and then Valerie will set a short
choreography. Ladies, please bring pointe shoes. Note: Not all CBD pieces
are en pointe! CBD Ensemble members encouraged to audition, too! We will be discussing
the holiday concert! CBD’s
repertoire is diverse, we are looking for well-rounded dancers with a strong ballet training, as well as jazz and modern,
to create our signature contemporary style. Whether you want to perform a little or a lot, we look forward to seeing
you there!

Student Performance Ensembles CBD students have several opportunities
to perform throughout the year beyond the annual Spring Dance Concert

CBD Cygnets
For ages 7-9, the
Cygnets will be new to the School for the 08-09 session. Students will have performance opportunities in area art
and dance festvials and CBD's Christmas production.
Junior Performance
Group
For ages 10-12, JPG performs an additional 2-3 times per year, including CBD's Boogie Woogie
Christmas Carol, local art and dance festivals and charity events.
Senior Performance
Group
For our teenaged students, SPG has opportunities to attend master classes offered throughout
the year, as well as, additional performance opportunities in CBD's Boogie Woogie Christmas Carol, area festivals and
charity events. If interested, SPG members also are afforded some choreographic opportunities. Please contact
