Adult Performance Ensemble Contemporary Ballet Ensemble
is our select performance group for our adult
attendees.
CBD Ensemble is our select adult performance group. Many of you are interested in performing, but
are not able to commit to the regular CBD rehearsal schedule. The CBD ensemble often does corps numbers,
character style roles, or fills out the stage otherwise during performances. The ensemble also performs
in the annual spring recital for the School of CBD, and occasionally, in local festivals or community programs.
The rehearsal schedule is less rigorous. If you are interested in performing in only one piece or
only one concert at a time, the Ensemble is perfect for you!

CBD’s repertoire is diverse; we are looking for well-rounded dancers with a strong ballet training,
as well as jazz and modern, to create our signature contemporary style. l

WHETHER YOU WANT TO PERFORM A LITTLE, OR A LOT – WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU THERE! l In the 11-12 season, performances are a Halloween Concert October 21-22, Peace, Love & Dance March
30, and a Spring Concert June 15-16, 2012 ! As well, CBD performs at the Dallas Museum of Art, local
dance and art festivals, and community outreach throughout year! AN EXCITING SEASON FOR SURE ~ so come and be part
of CBD!

Student Performance Ensembles CBD students have several opportunities to perform throughout
the year beyond the annual Spring Dance Concert

CBD Cygnets
For ages 7-9, the Cygnets have performance opportunities in area art and
dance festivals and CBD's holiday production.
Junior Performance Group
For ages
10-12, JPG performs an additional 2-3 times per year, including CBD's holiday show, local art and dance festivals and charity
events.
Senior Performance
Group
For our teenaged students, SPG has opportunities to attend master classes
offered throughout the year, as well as, additional performance opportunities in CBD's holiday show, area festivals and charity
